  1. Name: The name of the Charter School shall exist DaVinci University.
  1. Applicant: A Lease Agreement is granted to DaVinci Academy of Science and the Arts, which applied on October 21, 2004. An agreement was originally granted to Riverside Technology Loftier Schoolhouse.
  1. Location: The charter school shall be established in Ogden, Utah, located within the Ogden City Schoolhouse District , which is fabric to its authorisation.
  1. Mission Statement: DaVinci Academy of Science and the Arts is defended to developing competent, inventive, and ethical, thinkers who employ their knowledge, skills, leadership and problem-solving abilities to become productive members of a dynamic society. We accomplish this mission past:
  • Offering innovative, onsite, distance, online programs, and internships opportunities that promote enthusiasm, exploration, and academic excellence.

  1. Fundamental elements of the lease school: The key elements of the Charter School, as set along in the awarding, are programs and processes that make this school unique. They will be included in the State Charter School Board annual review as assurances and included in the School Accountability Framework Comprehensive reviews.

DaVinci Academy

  1. Provides a solid liberal arts foundation in add-on to a rigorous curriculum of science and math for low to moderate-income families of Ogden City/Weber County.
  2. Teaches with the student in mind and culminates in the student's senior projects, which is a focused research project in an area of interest for the educatee.
  3. Offers intensive academic assist; tutoring and courses volition be offered to those students requiring remediation, especially in math.
  4. Expects students to participate in programs which explore different careers, both professional person and technical, with staff acting every bit mentors.
