2d SRX - 2010 and 2015
SRX Operation and styling is peachy. The proven and matured SRX is ameliorate for the budget now than the 1st year XT5. Very large brakes are just OK to cease 20in tires with 4200 lbs... Brakes are a little mushy but the SRX stopped very well in emergency hard braking. Deduction after a chiliad mile trip --- very well balanced, tranquillity, very comfy ride that handled well at 80mph. Hi-way Sweet spot for MPG is nearly 67MPH. Acceleration is great. Appreciate the "ECO" mode that got 25 MPG with Crush Nitro. I observed both the SRX and the XT5 at a body repair shop looking closely at the two unlike vehicles with front end harm. The SRX uses much stronger frame back up connections than the new XT5. Mayhap, GM thought to lighten the XT5 in the forepart end. Perhaps, it is merely my erroneous deduction, but at the terminate of the mean solar day... I observe the Curb Weight difference is 164lbs: SRX is 4277 whereas the XT5 is 4113 - Thus, non a significant enough weight difference .

Terrible navigation/amusement system

With the exception of the navigator and entertainment systems, this car is a joy to own. The electronics are difficult to sympathize and require you to look at a screen to make changes, and not look at traffic. The instructions are wordy and disruptive. Trying to save a destination to the system is futile, it's far easier to pull over and inquire instructions. The system seems to have been engineered with 20 year olds in listen , not with the age subclass of people who really purchase these vehicles. Minus the poorly designed electronics organisation, I'd requite this vehicle a 9 plus. The navigation and entertainment systems get a two!

2015 SRX - It's new to me!

Merely 2 weeks into this machine merely and then far I Honey information technology. I didn't give information technology 5 stars simply because I only take 2 weeks experience and can't comment on reliability. Condolement and handling is a dream, transmission is very smoothen, ride is serenity and smooth, Bose sound organization is slap-up. I had an 07 Edge and loved it, super vehicle, and so much so I had been shopping for a 2015 Edge Titanium, but a family unit fellow member suggested looking at other models and so I checked out the SRX. Equally y'all'd expect, Cadillac means luxury, and so there are many refined appointments in this machine, and to my surprise, the SRX was comparably priced to the Edge'southward I was looking at. Hoping this SRX delivers the reliability I was used to, but the reviews I read before purchasing this machine would point the SRX should be my trusty best friend. The Cadillac Certified Used perks are besides an added benefit, very happy with this automobile and Cadillac's approach to customer service so far.

Bang-up styling, performance is very good for a crossover. Mileage is expert for a 3.vi. Plenty of bells and whistles. The CUE nav system is miserable. Nosotros just don't use it.

It does it all well, comfort, performance and luxury. It handles extremely well and the ride excels on all blazon roads. As a AWD vehicle its operation in 2ft of snowfall was splendid too.

Outset ever Cadillac...WOW......too high tech. for my taste......reading the manual performance of radio, heat, adjust seat etc. does little skilful...initially dealer provided a 20 minute hands on equally to how this and that works....need probably 1 hour minimum.....going back to dealer for a refresher...I prefer knobs over a touch screen whatsoever 24-hour interval to adjust the estrus, air, etc. the screen is ever ugly with finger prints....

Had the SRX 2 weeks now. And then far very happy however must admit the CUE organization is disruptive when coupled with the DIC Driver Information Middle. I am a techy merely this organisation is not very intuitive, but I will figure it out. Overall the CUE systems is smashing and easy to read. Having trouble getting my SRX to sync with the Cadillac App to allow remote starting, door lock/unlock, etc remotely. The outside stying...peculiarly in the Red Tintcoat, gets a lot of looks and smiles.

Nosotros traded our 2010 performance package SRX for a 2015 luxury bundle SRX as I am posting this I am so close to tears from the pain in my back, buttox and legs the drivers seat causes me. The 2010 gave me no problem whatsoever. I'm wondering if the different packages have better condolement in their seating. We honey to travel but information technology would be very limited if not zip in this car. If anyone has a solution delight share. Cheers

I am very pleased with my SRX. I specifically searched out the 2015 Luxury trim because it came with power pedals, 18" tires plus a spare tire. The but other style to get the power pedals was 2016 Performance trim simply the twenty" tires gives a much harder ride and a spare tire is nearly $900 (we travel to remote areas with no roadside assistance). The power pedals were disquisitional for me since I take curt legs and driving with tip-toes is uncomfortable and unsafe. Additionally, the drivers seat has enough adjustments to allow the seatbelt the lay flat on my shoulder, not cut into my neck. The adjustable body summit is wonderful too, this machine was made for curt people, thank you Cadillac designers! My but trouble so far is the summit of the drivers window, it makes it difficult to reach out of the window for drive through banking, pharmacy, etc. But I'll effigy information technology out.

I will never purchase a Cadillac again

Nosotros traded our 2010 SRX for a 2015 SRX Premium. We take had nothing merely bug. Both a sunroof and passenger door air leak, OnStar Module was bad and had to exist replaced. the Driver'southward seat Memory does not work! The transmission has a slip in information technology! All of these things take been wrong since Twenty-four hours 1 and the motorcar had 3 miles on it. I called upwardly GM and they said it was the Dealership's trouble. I strongly disagree, they did not manufacture it. This expensive luxurious cross over has to go dorsum to the shop once more(180 miles round trip). The odometer just turned over five,000 miles and it is really frightening what is going to happen adjacent. Nosotros volition NEVER own some other Cadillac. Sadly, this is the third and final one. We are then disappointed in the customer service from Cadillac, that I volition continue to permit others know how they treat a connected customer. Not to mention, we only put 20,000 miles on our 2010 in 5 years. That was by selection, loved the 2010! Totally frustrated!
